Highlights of projects I've have completed.

The duration of the projects varies from days till few months.  

Mailbox Migration to Microsoft 365

Migrating to Microsoft 365 requires a structured approach to minimize disruptions and ensure a smooth transition. My process includes the following key steps:

🔹 Planning: Conducting a thorough analysis of the current email environment and defining a clear migration strategy. This includes selecting the right migration method (Cutover, Staged, or Hybrid) and setting up a realistic timeline.

🔹 Testing: Running test migrations to check compatibility, optimize performance, and identify potential challenges early in the process.

🔹 Communication: Providing clear and timely communication to all stakeholders, including end-user instructions and support for a seamless adoption of the new system.

🔹 Support: Offering hands-on guidance during and after the migration to resolve any issues quickly and ensure business continuity.

🔹 Project Delivery: Successfully delivering a fully functional Microsoft 365 environment, complete with documentation and post-migration support.

Busienss central on premise installation

Successfully implemented Busienss Central on premise at several client sites

The installation package contains:

  • Installation of several windows server roles & feature

  • SQL installation & configuration

  • CRM installation & configuration

  • Active directory related changes

Azure Active Directory Sync Services 

Successfully implemented Azure AD (password sync) for my own on premise Active Directory domain.

 

From the start to finish, I've created an Azure AD synchronization with Active Directory. Which allows me to sync on premise AD objects to Office 365. 

The project contains:

  • Setting up Office 365 tenant

    • Setting up Office 365 tenant

    • Setting up DNS

    • Setting up licenses

  • Configuring Azure AD sync client

  • Configuring AD object for synchronization 

 

Skype for Business CLoud PBX/Phone System

Successfully implemented Skype Cloud PBX Phone system 

From the start to finish. Before the official release of Skype for business PBX phone system, I was involved in the testing stage of Microsoft Cloud PBX online. Once it was officially released,  I've successfully migrated the Avaya phone system of CRM Partners to Skype Cloud PBX. The project contains:

  • Inventaristion of the existing phone system

  • Inventaristion of end-user requirements

  • Setting up migration documentation

  • Setting up end-user documentation

  • Setting up communication documentation

  • Gave end-user training

  • Migrating ISDN numbers to Microsoft

  • Configuring Skype PBX environment

  • Go Live! 

  • Support and improvements 

 

Dynamics 365 on premise installation

Successfully implemented Dynamics 365 on premise at several client sites

Successfully implemented Windows Deployment Services

Failover Cluster Manager hyper-v role

Successfully implemented Hyper-V virtual cluster

  • Installing & configuring Hyper-V replication services

Print-park with passes

Successfully implemented Print park with AD authentication passes for CRM Partners offices (Barneveld and Amersfoort)

Comparing  specs and cost of several lease suppliers

Fileserver sharing storage

Successfully implemented file server for document sharing using AD security topology

 

From the start to finish, I've created a file server structure for the daily use of files and documents for Micros office in Amersfoort

The project contains:

Setting up topology document for the whole company, within each department has their own file structure

  • Setting up the file server and storage 

  • Configuring backup solution

  • Configuring roles and features

  • Configuring security groups in AD

  • Setting up folder structure 

  • Applying security using AD objects

 

Smartphone Contacts Sync with SiraSync for Office365

Successfully implemented Cirasync add-on for office 365. Cirasync is an add-on for Office365 to sync your AD contact information, like mobile numbers to smartphones by using Outlook Contacts.
